35 Weeks
Weight: ~18 lbs.
Length: I'm guessing around 27" or so. He won't hold still long enough for me to measure him!
Milestones: Booger butt started crawling a small handful of days after he turned 7 months, and now he's crawling like a freaking champ and pulling up to stand holding on to things. We're also starting to slowly introduce solid finger foods, but we're not making a whole lot of progress just yet.
Sleep: There are some days when he sleeps so well throughout the night, but on other nights, he's up every 3-4 hours for a snuggle. We think it is because of his top teeth, but they have yet to make their arrival.
Eating: 30-32 oz. of formula, 4 tablespoons of oatmeal in the morning, a stage 2 veggie and fruit for lunch, and then a stage 2 dinner in the evening. I'm really struggling to figure out how to introduce regular food to him without having to make something completely separate for him for dinner. We've also moved him to a real booster seat for his meals.
Mood: Determined! He's also been his normal silly, smiley self. He absolutely loves to scrunch up his face and grin! It's by far the cutest thing EVER!
Likes: He absolutely LOVES the macaroni and cheese dinner, and he's a huge fan of crawling all over the place.
Dislikes: He's not a fan of naps in the early evening, and he's starting to become uncomfortable when I leave his sight while we're at home.
Things I want to remember: I want to remember how quickly he's making leaps and how he just races around from thing to thing!
Looking forward to: Walking and talking...it terrifies me, but I'm so excited to watch him grow!
We tried to get our traditional picture on the rocker, but someone was too busy trying to peer over the side to see things on the floor. If we hadn't been there to stop him, I'm absolutely certain that he would have attempted to climb right over the side!
It was also St. Patrick's Day this week. Normally this is my absolute favorite spring holiday, but for some reason I was just in a funk. I suppose the upcoming prom is having me feeling a bit out of whack, but I couldn't resist getting our nugget a onesie in celebration. We also had some friends over this past weekend, and as always, that was a blast!
His Irish eyes are certainly smiling!
